HIV/AIDS continues to impact communities worldwide, and its effects are still being felt in the U.S., especially within communities of color. This discussion will provide vital insights into the current state of HIV/AIDS, focusing on recent trends and the growing disparities in infection rates.

The TRUTH in Numbers:
Between 2006 and 2010:

  • 35% increase in the Hispanic community
  • 29% increase in the Black community
  • 24% increase in men
  • 27% increase in women
  • 14% increase in the Caucasian community
