The Center for African American Studies hosted a free screening of the first episode of Echoes From the Hill on October 18, 2022. The documentary features photos, maps, documents, and excerpts from interviews with Black residents and their descendants who lived in Arlington. Approximately a five-block area of the city, The Hill was the only historic addition platted specifically for Arlington’s African American residents.
